O Lord, I implore Thee! Grant that I may be perfectly conscious and master of all that constitutes this personality, so that I may be delivered from myself and Thou alone mayst live and act through these multiple elements.

"எல்லா தடைகளும் பொய்யானவை என்பது ஒருவரின் சொந்தத்தில் உள்ளது,
அனைத்து சிரமங்களும் காணப்படுவது ஒருவரின் சொந்தத்தில் உள்ளது,
எல்லா இருளும் அறியாமையும் இருக்கிறது என்பது ஒருவரின் சொந்தத்தில் உள்ளது.
நாம் பூமியெங்கும் பயணிக்க வேண்டுமா, நாங்கள் சென்று தனிமையில் புதைந்து, நம்முடைய எல்லா பழக்கவழக்கங்களையும் முறித்துக் கொண்டு, மிகவும் சன்யாசி வாழ்க்கையை நடத்த வேண்டுமா? உம்முடைய தெய்வீக அன்புடனான ஒருங்கிணைந்த ஒற்றுமையிலிருந்து இணைப்பு நம்மைத் துண்டித்துவிட்டது, எல்லா வெளிப்புற சூழ்நிலைகளையும் மீறி நாங்கள் உங்களுக்கு அருகில் இருக்க மாட்டோம்.
எந்தவொரு சூழ்நிலையையும் அதிகமாகவோ அல்லது குறைவாகவோ சாதகமாகக் கருத முடியுமா? எனக்கு சந்தேகம்; அவர்களைப் பற்றிய நம்மிடம் இருக்கும் யோசனைதான், அவர்கள் நமக்குக் கொடுக்கும் படிப்பினைகளால் அதிக அல்லது குறைந்த லாபம் ஈட்ட உதவுகிறது.
ஆண்டவரே, நான் உம்மை வேண்டிக்கொள்கிறேன்! இந்த ஆளுமையை உருவாக்கும் எல்லாவற்றிலும் நான் முழுமையான விழிப்புணர்வையும், எஜமானரையும் கொண்டிருக்கிறேன், அதனால் நான் என்னிடமிருந்து விடுவிக்கப்படுவேன், நீ மட்டும் இந்த பல கூறுகளின் மூலம் வாழவும் செயல்படவும் முடியும்.
அன்பில் வாழ, அன்பால், அன்பிற்காக, உன்னுடைய உயர்ந்த வெளிப்பாட்டுடன் பிரிக்கமுடியாமல் ஒன்றுபட்டது ....
